WHAT DOES INTEGRITY MEAN?

In consciousness coaching we like to take the moral jusgement out of the concept of Integrity. Its not about “right” and “wrong” – because everybody’s interpretation of what is right and wrong is different. Our definition of integrity is “To do what you said you would do, by when you said you would do it”.

Imagine living like this.

If you ALWAYS delivered on time, how would people regard you? Imagine never having to say sorry again (sounds like a movie! ) Imagine never over promising and under delivering again! When you live in this state, life just works. The Law of attraction is activated.

It also gives you a lovely way to say No. “I would be out of integrity if I said Yes, because I am unable to deliver this by Friday – would next Tuesday work for you?” That conversation builds trust which is fundamental to building valuable relationships.

In my practice I have noticed that the state of people’s worlds is in direct correlation to their level of integrity in delivering to themselves. Of course you woukd be happier if you were delivering all of the objectives and goals you set for yourself.

Coaching questions:

Where in my life am I most often out of integrity with myself, and how does that quietly erode my confidence, energy, or self-trust?

What promises do I keep making, out of guilt, fear, or people-pleasing, that I already know I can’t realistically deliver on?

If my word became completely reliable, to myself first, then to others, what would immediately simplify or strengthen in my relationships and daily life?
